Terms of Service
Last updated: 25 July 2026
These terms explain what SecretSelects is, what we do for you, and what we don't do. We have tried to keep them readable. Where a sentence carries legal weight we have kept it precise, but nothing here is meant to be a wall of legalese.
1. Who we are
SecretSelects (secretselects.com) is operated by GCI Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 09806862, with its registered office at C/O Cloud Business Hub, 23 Sangley Road, London, England, SE25 6QT, United Kingdom. You can reach us at privacy@secretselects.com.
When we say "we" or "us" in these terms, we mean GCI Solutions Ltd. When we say "you", we mean the person using SecretSelects.
2. What SecretSelects is
SecretSelects is an AI-assisted travel planning service. You tell the planner where you want to go and it helps you shape a trip: flights, stays, activities, car hire.
We plan. Bookings complete on partner sites. Prices are confirmed there. With one exception (hotel bookings, section 6), we are not the merchant for any travel service, we take no travel payments, and we hold no customer money at any point.
We offer a free tier, a Member tier, and a paid Pro subscription (section 10). Booking is never gated behind payment. You can plan and book a full trip without paying us anything.
3. The planner is an AI
The travel planner is an AI agent, not a human. It is good at its job, but it can make mistakes.
Every number the planner states comes from live partner data at the time it answers. Prices, schedules, and availability change quickly in travel, so you must reconfirm every detail on the partner site before you book. If the planner and the partner site disagree, the partner site is right.
You are responsible for checking passport validity, visa requirements, and health or vaccination rules for everyone travelling. The planner may mention these topics but it is not a substitute for checking official sources.
4. Prices
Prices on SecretSelects are indicative "from" prices. They show what a fare or rate started at when we last checked. The final price is the one confirmed on the partner site at booking. We do not guarantee any fare or rate, and we never combine separate services into a single package price.
5. Your bookings are with travel providers, not us
Each travel service you book (a flight, a stay, an activity, a car) is a separate contract between you and that provider, on that provider's terms. We are not a party to those contracts.
We do not sell package holidays, and using our booking checklist does not give you the rights that apply to packages under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018. In some cases the checklist can amount to what those regulations call a linked travel arrangement. Where that applies, we show you the prescribed information notice on the checklist itself, before you book. Please read it: it explains, in the regulator's words, what protection you do and do not have.
Because you never pay us for travel, there is no money held by us that could need insolvency protection. Your payments go to the travel providers, and any protection for those payments comes from the provider, your card issuer, or your travel insurance.
If a provider cancels, delays, or otherwise fails to deliver, your remedy is against that provider under its terms. We will point you in the right direction where we can, but we cannot compel a provider to act.
6. Hotel bookings through our site
For some stays you can complete the booking inside SecretSelects, through our booking partner LiteAPI. Even then, your payment goes to LiteAPI and the property side, never to us, and your booking contract is with the travel provider. We facilitate the booking; we do not take your money and we are not the merchant of record.
7. How we make money
We earn commission from travel partners when you book through our links. Our current partners include Aviasales (via the Travelpayouts network) for flights, Stay22 for stays, Viator for activities, DiscoverCars for car hire, and SafetyWing for insurance links.
Commission never changes the price you pay. It is how the service stays free to use.
8. Travel insurance
We link to travel insurance providers. That is all we do. We do not sell, arrange, quote, compare, or recommend insurance, and nothing on SecretSelects is insurance advice. We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. SafetyWing links are affiliate links, and whether a policy suits you is a decision between you and the insurer.
9. Your account
Accounts are managed through our sign-in provider, Clerk. You must be at least 18 to book travel through SecretSelects, because booking creates contracts with travel providers and that needs adult contracting capacity. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think your account has been compromised.
10. Pro subscription
Pro costs £39 per year (or the equivalent in your local currency), billed by us through Stripe. It is the only thing we ever charge you for, and it is optional: booking works the same without it.
Because Pro is a digital service bought online, you have a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you tell us within 14 days of subscribing that you have changed your mind, we will refund you in full. Your statutory rights are not affected.
You can cancel at any time through the customer portal linked from your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for.
11. Acceptable use
Use SecretSelects for planning real trips. Do not scrape the service, abuse or attempt to manipulate the AI agent, probe our systems, or use SecretSelects for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
12. Our responsibility to you
We provide SecretSelects with reasonable care and skill. That is the standard we hold ourselves to and the one you can hold us to.
We are not the travel provider. We are not liable for the acts, omissions, or failures of airlines, hotels, activity operators, car hire firms, insurers, or any other partner, or for losses that arise from your contract with them. This sits alongside the linked travel arrangement notice in section 5, which describes the same position in the regulator's prescribed words.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and your statutory rights as a consumer.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example when we add a partner or a feature. When we make a material change we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects you significantly, tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use SecretSelects after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you live elsewhere in the UK you may also be able to bring proceedings in your local courts.
